Nov 05, 2007· That's a early model 9J Gorton mill you have there. The one I had was a 1938 vintage, very close to the one you are looking at. Mill definitly has No. 10 B&S taper in the spindle. Looking at your pictures, it may have the collet adapter in the spindle for the gorton collets. X-Y feed is common on these mills.
