The mill is in great shape, The spindle bearings were replaced about 12 years ago with brand new original spec fafnir angular contact bearings, The table is clean with no milling marks but has very small denting in the surface, and the machine has all the original handles, the optional column riser block .
Feb 06, 2008· Clausing sells parts, including the gears, but I've found them to be very pricey as already mentioned... was surprised at some of the parts that are no longer available, including handles and wipers. As for prices, $1500 - $2000 in working order seems to be the norm; I've seen asking prices higher, and distressed machines go for much less.
Jul 03, 2013· I do know that Atlas bought Clausing circa 1949 and then changed the company name to Clausing in the early 60's. And that we buy Atlas parts from Clausing today. But the Atlas and Clausing machines share no parts that I am aware of. And the owner of one brand isn't likely to know the answer to any machine specific questions about the other brand.
